Over the past five years, the mission has stayed the same -to support families by creating thoughtful, well-written children’s books. The actual products and services have changed a bit, as Words Worth Repeating has evolved to meet the needs and the constraints of families. So, what do we offer now?
Heart-to-Heart Books
These children’s books were written to give adults the words to talk about hard things. These books do not tell the story of one child, but instead give families the simple supportive phrases and the education to be able to talk about these important topics. “Is There A Book for That?” Blog
After creating books for a few years, Laura realized that many people had trouble finding the good books that already existed. As a true believer in children’s book as a tool to facilitate family-wide coping, she started creating a list of books that could support families through a variety of situations, as a way to help. Families and hospital professionals can follow the blog or follow Words Worth Repeating on socials to get weekly updates. The blog search bar can also be used to look up specific needs or topics, and there is a printable PDF list of all of the books that have been included in previous blogs.
Collaboration with Organizations to Fill Literature Gaps
There is nothing like the passion and the knowledge that comes from a small group of individuals united for a cause. Words Worth Repeating loves channeling that energy into a children’s book that can educate families and connect them with support. Words Worth Repeating partners with small organizations and non-profits to create special children’s books that make a difference in their communities. (Both organizations receive royalties from sales.)

Tools to Create Customized Books About a Loved One
Children can often repeat the stories they know from their favorite story books or shows. Can your child tell the stories of their loved one who has died? Words Worth Repeating offers a couple of different tools that help families create a special book that tells their story. The digital template option allows families to upload photos of your family and your person. The easy digital format makes including the kids possible, but if they would like to create their own version, drawing pictures and fully customizing it, there is also a workbook option. New books coming in 2026…
Words Worth Repeating is excited to be releasing new book in the coming year. A new book about Maternal Alloimmunization & HDFN will be released in late February, and additional titles about mental health and coping with medical experiences are planned for later in the year.
